What is a dust cover kit and what is it used for?
A dust cover protects the piston rod of your shock absorber from dirt, small stones and the elements. This prevents premature wear of the piston rod and ensures that the shock absorber lasts considerably longer.
How can I tell if my dust cover needs replacing?
Typical signs include cracks, hardening or visible signs of wear on the rubber. Rattling noises around the chassis may also be an indication.
Does the ap dust cover set fit all shock absorbers?
The ap dust cover set is designed to fit ap products perfectly. We therefore advise against using our dust cover set with third-party products. You can find the correct version in our online shop using the vehicle search function.
